hereby certifies that;
Jeffrey Hadleigh-Lloyd has carried out various works using the electro osmotic damp proofing system, some of them ten years ago, with total satisfaction.
The solution adopted was simple, inexpensive and does not require costly and inconvenient building work.
When terminated, the installation invisible and unlike solutions that require thick coatings or false walls that reduce the usable area.
In older buildings the removal of the damp can return the building to their original condition, with the subsequent saving in maintainance.

Hi Jeff ,
I know it has been a long time but I would like to offer something for you to show your future customers.
It has been more than eight years since you installed the damp proof course in our house in Gualchos, Granada
I had known about the Electrolysis System for several years but wasn't sure how well it would work (or even if it would work at all) with and old stone and mud built house.
When I bought the house it was very damp (the evidence had been covered up by the previous owner by a quick heavy coat of paint). My first task was to strip away old paint and rendering but the damp remained obvious. With no way of introducing a damp proof membrane the only answer was to use the electrolysis system.
I must say that after seven years there is still no sign of the damp reappearing.
I would be pleased to recommend the system to anyone.
Yours sincerely
Henry Murphy, Gualchos.

The ground floor of my barn is below street level and had been flooded several times before I moved in.The outside wall was so damp that I could not hang anything up as the mould would destroy it. One could squeeze water from a handful of plaster, it just never dried. I rang Jeff to come and sort out the problem and within three months, there was no sign of damp. I am very pleased with the results and have used this system again on my shop which was rebuilt completely, only I had left one corner of the ruin just to save something of the old building. Unfortunately, this was the only part that remained damp and no amount of painting would stay on. Now it is completely dry and I never have to worry about stock being damaged. It is not cheap but well worth it, because it lasts.

Dear Jeff, I hope this helps
I built my house in Castell in 1986 and as arquitect managed the project, I chose the best builders and the best materials. The site could not have been better, solid rock at more than 9 meters above sea level.
After a few years I had to start to repaint and repair damage caused by the appearance of localized damp spots on the walls, also black mould started to appear in corners, behind bookshelves.
At first I simply added the repainting and mould removal to the maintenance list of a house that is seldom used and spends most of the year closed. During the 1st few years’ reasons that made me accept the problem included the proximity to the sea (300 meters) and the high salinity in the area and of course the fact that most of the houses in the village seem to suffer the same problems of damp.
The house continued to deteriate at an accelerating rate, I tried all the wonder paints with their new and exiting components to no avail.
I contacted Jeff in 1999 to carry out the now yearly maintenance of painting and removing the results of a very damp house. We talked about his ”electro osmosis” he described the electro kinetics to me, I accepted the scientific viability of the process but like most people I found it difficult to accept that a piece of wire inserted into the wall would correct a problem that defeated all the miracle paints and coatings.
Due to the complete failure of all efforts to resolve the problem, and in all honesty a certain desperation, I gave Jeff’s system a try.
The installation was completed in two days and the damp began to disappear and with it the black mould. The maintenance and heating costs have been reduced to a minimum, I now paint the exterior at 5-year intervals and the interior at longer intervals.
I now enjoy my visits to Castell as I now longer have to spend all my time and money, repainting and dealing with the damp and mould.
I hope that this testimonial will help others who suffer the awful problems of rising damp and I recommend wholeheartedly an honest and innovative worker, my good friend Jeffrey Hadleigh-Lloyd.
Yours with thanks

Dear Jeff
As you know we rarely use the house above 6 weeks a year and that we were having to sweep up the paint from the floor every visit and also repaint. Since you treated the walls we have had to do neither on our following holidays and would like to thank you for a terrific job.

As you are aware, we have willingly given verbal recommendations to various prospect client's of yours who were considering installing your dampproofing system. As you now had a dedicated web site, I thought you may like us to put this in writing.
We purchased a 25 year old Villa in Gualchos in 1998 and within a year it became apparent that we had a serious problem with dampness. We were living the UK and visiting the Villa about three times a year, when we found clothing, furniture and other items were very wet and smelly. We had to decorate internally each year and despite purchasing and applying various damp proof paint and sealant acquired in the UK, the problem remained. We contacted you in 2001 and during a visit you carried out your famous "finger test"! You told us that the problem was hydrostatic salts, a symptom of rising damp.
You installed your electrolysis system that year and solved our damp problem. We have no maintenance costs and the running costs are insignificant. We were so impressed that when we moved to live in Spain in 2007, and had a sun lounge, measuring some 24 sq. metres and an outside "almacen" measuring some 28 sq. metres built we installed the system in both buildings. Many cubic metres of cement and concrete was used in their construction and in April, like everyone else in the area, we suffered from the heavy storms, but the system was more than adequate and we suffered no dampness at all - so much so, we can with confidence store clothing, books and papers in the buildings in the knowledge that they will not become damp or ruined.
Neither of us are "technically" minded, so please excuse us for not mentioning the technical details, but we are very willing to either speak to or reply by e-mail to any of your prospective customers who wish for information as the practical results of you system and feel free to pass on our telephone number or e-mail address. Please feel free to post this on your web site if you so wish.
Kindest regards,
Brian & Maria RILEY, Gualchos.

Hi Jeff Just a little something to show your potential clients.
When we bought our house it was already a few years old and also surrounded by a garden. Soon we began to notice problems of damp, the paint began to peel and ugly stains started to appear, we painted each year but to no avail.
Finally we heard about a system called “electro osmosis”, some of our friends had the system installed in their house and were very happy with the results. We decided to try it, and from that moment the damp has disappeared and it’s been 4 years without the need to repaint.
We are fully satisfied with the decision to install and are more than happy to recommend the system.

The Electro-Osmotic treatment carried out on our 200-year old Spanish house has worked fantastically. Not only are the walls bone dry, but the leaching out of salts has already been diminished to a negligible amount – and that in less than 1 year. For the first time, we do not have to sweep up the broken-off paint inside and outside our house, and, what’s more, this year we will not have to repaint the inner and outer walls.
One cannot see that the system has been installed, because DampProofingSpain has made good any spots that had to be drilled out for the treatment, but they also left the place as tidy and clean as it was before the “operation”. There was no intrusion into our daily life, no dust, hardly any noise, and it was over in an extremely short time. It was a job done truly professionally.
